Miss Rodeo North Dakota 2016

Grace Stanke
Miss Rodeo North Dakota 2024

Grace Stanke is the 21 year old daughter of Shannan and the late Greg Stanke of rural West Fargo. She rode before she could walk and showed before she could talk! Growing up competing in rodeos, horse shows, 4-H, competitive

hippology and the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA), Grace now competes as a Level 3 Ladies Cowboy Mounted Shooter.  After being classically educated through high school, Grace became a member of Phi Theta Kappa College Honor Society and earned her associate degree in psychology from Minnesota State Community and Technical College. She is certified in mental health first aid.

In June of 2023, while serving as Miss Rodeo Mandan, Grace entered the Miss Rodeo North Dakota Pageant held in scenic Medora, North Dakota at the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame. She won the categories of Horsemanship,

Appearance, Photogenic, along with receiving the Written Test Award and an educational scholarship.

The youngest of three sisters who collectively took home 14 rodeo queen and princess crowns, Grace is no stranger to rodeo pageants. Following the death of her beloved father to CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy), she found life presented her with a platform she could pursue. Grace has set out with a passion to share her strong message to others about the connection between head injuries and mental health. It is her goal to travel across the state and nation to work with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Justin Sports Medicine Team to advocate for concussion awareness and the life altering after effects.

Grace will travel the region during 2024 promoting the sport of rodeo and the western heritage and will compete for Miss Rodeo America in December 2024. Her duties involve promoting and assisting with rodeos and other events throughout North Dakota and will serve as an ambassador at numerous rodeos throughout the country. By winning the title, Grace will be awarded a Chevy vehicle to drive during her year by Heartland Chevy & Wilhelm Chevrolet of Jamestown, along with cash prizes, trophy saddle, buckle, and more!

She would like to thank her personal sponsors: 72 Cowboy Media, BattleBlitzPaintball, and A to Z Moving.
